 Born in 1956 in Westminster, California, the Premier brand and its production department have been moved in Italy in 1987. The Premier Helmets company has been approaching the new productive reality with continuous changing, becoming soon a leader in its sector. PREMIER’S PHILOSOPHY The Premier’s philosophy base has been drawing during a lot of years or technology research and productive commitment. The creation of a new factory plant dedicated only to the production of high quality fiber helmets, together with the specialization of the productive cycle and the latest industrial technologies, has been used to create an high quality product that can be done both with technology and the hand made work, typical of the work on composite materials. The passion, the strategic marketing view, the investments on resources, the technology research, the attention for all the details of the product, have contributed to the development and the success of the Premier Helmets company. The helmet for Premier is an essential element, both for the sportive biker, both for the real biker who’s always travelling on his bike, both for the growing market of the city bikers always more demanding searching for light and comfortable products. A group of dynamic professionals motivated by one goal: the customer satisfaction. An innovative, high quality and technological product. This is Premier and these are its winning characteristics. ITALIAN DESIGN The creation of new models, their innovative and exclusive design, together with the management of the projects and development, are the most important aspects of the Premier Helmet business. For this reason in the Research and Development department the traditional manual systems are working together with the latest techniques of the computer technology, in order to improve every step of the project. All the processes are coordinated by specialized people, to whom has been given the task to concept innovative products, both for esthetical, functionality and technology at the top of the sector. To project an helmet means research the perfection: comfort, performance, safety, design, ergonomic, resistance. Functionality and fashion, performance and esthetical, are joined in a total proposal for racing and city, off road and enduro. PREMIER signs the innovation and projects for the two wheels with a particular attention to the evolution, the style and the contemporary necessities. In every shape, every material, every detail we research the precision and innovation. SAFETY AND QUALITY Maximum protection and safety are the main requirement for all the Premier helmets. This is the base concept on which we create all our development and production activity of Premier helmets: above all and before any other esthetical, technical or financial evaluation, both in the design and production of the helmet. In the production department there’s a certified laboratory to check all the design’s developments of every prototype before they’ll be considered definitive and ready to guarantee the acquisition of all the homologation requirements in every single nation all over the world. The severe quality checks during the production steps and the safety exam, is one of the most important financial investments both for statics and for dynamics tests. Every Premier helmet has all those elements together, in order to guarantee a very high level of quality and design. Once we have the homologation, we start the serial production and the internal laboratory guarantees all the checks on the materials, the product and the production, through random destructive tests. In the laboratory are done non-stop tests, using the latest technologies for the tests machines, in order to check every single component of the product. The materials used are always more exclusive and hi-tech: carbon, dyneema, titanium, vechtram, epoxidic resins for the moulding of the external shell; Lexan OQ from General Electric for the moulding of visors and other components; anallergic and technical fabrics for the internal parts. Research, production and tests are our guarantee for the safety and the duration of our products. PRODUCTION The Premier production organisation has been created, since inception, following a unique strategy that characterized the company: the complete and direct control on the whole productive cycle. For this reason, all the steps – from the receiving of raw materials to the check and packing of the helmet- are done under the strict control of the Premier’s responsible. In this way, the know-how of the company can grow constantly, thanks to a continuous research, that allows to define a technological process unique and exclusive. In this way we can ensure the evolution of the production technologies, a good level of customer service and the maintenance of quality standards. The shells are projected and realized from Premier with the top latest materials: carbon, dyneema, fibreglass, and much more. For this reason continuous researches gave to Premier the possibility to use bran new mixes of high quality materials,as VTA– Vechtram/Titanium/Aramidic, that are combined with other materials in order to help the production steps of the shell. The reached goal is the realisation of a new integral helmet of just 1.100 grams of weight, maintaining the maximum safety standards. The balance between the weight and resistance to the shocks of the new composite structure, using exclusive new materials, has been totally reached. The painting cycle put together automatic steps (as the application of the base colour on the shell) and hand made procedures (like the decals application), in order to guarantee a perfect quality result. The ventilation system, the lateral visor mechanisms, and all the other components are the result of specific functional and ergonomic studies, thanks to the experience of the Premier Helmets company. Before going on with the assembling step, every component is carefully checked with special machines that can make the component move as it is supposed to do in the normal use, in order to avoid any weakness or any other problem. RACING Races are a point of beginning and a point of arrival. From the first integral helmet on the world racing tracks in 1961, to all the new riders who’re shining in the actual championships. The specialisation of Premier products has been used in the competitions: the helmet is developed with passion, with the most extreme conditions; then it is developed with the solutions ideated in collaboration with our professional riders, becoming in this way a good instrument for the protection and safety in every condition , ready for the circuit, but also for the normal use on the road. Continuous research of evolution and improvement. The races are the best test for the helmets, where specialized technicians for the Racing Service have the double task to give the technical assistance and at the same time use the precious information from the race into the series production.
